The Legacy of Play

Since 2013, Landscape Structures has partnered with Kiwanis International, a global organization dedicated to serving children worldwide, to offer the annual Legacy of Play contest. The contest awards one deserving Kiwanis club $25,000 in playground equipment to be used toward a playground project. The Legacy of Play contest is open to all Kiwanis clubs working on a playground project during the contest year. To enter, each club submits a proposal and requests support via online voting. From the top 10 highest-voted clubs, a panel of judges determines the winner.

In 2022, Landscape Structures and our splash play division, Aquatix®, partnered with Kiwanis to offer the Legacy of Play H2O contest, which awarded an AquaSmart® Package splash pad to the winning Kiwanis club.
